D-Link, the end-to-end networking solutions provider for consumer and business, has launched its Wireless 150 Router DIR-600. Based on draft 802.11n technology, the DIR-600 provides better wireless coverage and improved speeds over standard 802.11g1, the company said.
The DIR-600 allows user to set up wireless network in home or office without professional installation. Its Installation Wizard CD-ROM5 guides user through an easy step-by-step installation process to set up wireless network and Internet connection. Once the setup process is complete, user can share a high-speed Internet connection, files, media, and more.
The DIR-600 supports the latest wireless security features to prevent unauthorized access, be it from over the wireless network or from the Internet, the company added. Support for WPA and WPA2 ensure the usage of the best possible encryption available, regardless of client devices. In addition, the DIR-600 utilizes dual active firewalls (SPI and NAT) to prevent potential attacks from across the Internet. Plus, the DIR-600 includes Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) with a push button feature that easily sets up and activates network security functions.
The DIR-600 is available in the market at an approximate street price of Rs. 2,700 with a three-year warranty.
