Rashi Announces Availability of New Netgear Switches

Netgear ProSafe FSM7226RS and FSM726E Switches

Rashi Peripherals has announced the availability of fully managed 10/100 switches. The Netgear ProSafe FSM7226RS is a fully managed 10/100 24 port switch with two Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps or 1GE SFP) ports and supporting 32 static routes. This model also has two dedicated stacking connectors, each providing 5 Gbps of full duplex switch-to-switch bandwidth. A single stack can have up to 8 units and 384 ports, providing a very scalable and easy to use solution. The FSM726E has 24 10/100 ports plus two hot-swappable, small form-factor pluggable (SFP) Gigabit interfaces, but no stacking ports.

Netgear ProSafe FSM7226RS has a built-in thermal sensor to automatically speed up the fan to increase air flow in warm environments, and slow down the fan to reduce the noise when operating in an office environment. In addition to this, both Netgear ProSafe FSM7226RS and FSM726E feature a non-blocking design that delivers simultaneous, full wire-speed, low-latency throughput to all ports.
