Kingston Technology, a provider of memory products, has started shipping both 1333- and 1066MHz DDR3 server modules in ValueRAM and 1333MHz DDR3 server modules in system specific memory validated by Intel for use on its Xeon processor-based motherboards.
Kingston is in full support for Intel's latest server platforms using the new Nehalem-based Xeon processors, and its registered ECC server DIMMs and unbuffered ECC DIMMs are optimized to take advantage of the triple-channel architecture.
"Kingston's DDR3 registered ECC DIMMs as well as DDR3 unbuffered ECC DIMMs incorporate with thermal sensor that is utilized on some platforms to monitor the memory modules' temperature and allows the platform to better manage thermal parameters for more reliable operation. Kingston foresees the increasing demands for system migration on both corporate and consumer ends since the debut of the new Xeon processors. The new Xeon processors offer a more work-efficient option and Kingston is committed to work with its long-term partner, Intel, to offer a wide range of server modules with the latest technology and highest quality," said Scott Chen, Vice President (APAC Region), Kingston.
